Rebecca S., founder of Cultivating Crowns
The Founder

Cultivated by Rebecca. For anyone who wears their crowns.

After years of shedding, patches, and shelves lined with promises that never kept, Rebecca returned to what her grandmother knew: herbs, patience, and hands that hold intention.

She studied Ayurvedic tradition, sourced whole roots and leaves from women-owned farms, and spent two years perfecting a single bottle of oil. That bottle became Cultivating Crowns—a house of rituals for hair that grows because it feels safe.

Words from the wearing.

"
Three months in, and my edges are back. Not thinning, not patchy—back. This is the ritual I didn't know I needed.

I've tried everything. Cultivating Crowns is the first line that made my scalp feel calm and my hair feel loved.

"
The beard oil is a whole moment. My skin doesn't flake, my beard is soft, and my wife keeps stealing it.

The Infusion Process

Made by hand. Infused for 72 hours.

  1. 1

    01 — Measure the herbs

Whole bhringraj, amla, hibiscus, fenugreek and rosemary are weighed and blended with fine Ayurvedic powders, batch by batch, in my own kitchen.

  2. 2

    02 — Warm the oils

Cold-pressed carrier oils are warmed low and slow — never boiled — until the herbs release their color and the whole jar turns gold.

  3. 3

03 — Rest 72 hours in the dark

The jar is sealed and set away in a dark, cool place for three full days. No heat, no light, no rushing. That's where the potency comes from.

  4. 4

    04 — Strain & bottle

Once the infusion is ready, it's strained through a funnel into amber glass, capped, labeled by hand and packaged for your crown.

Called Kesharaja — the king of hair — in the old Sanskrit texts. Bhringraj is what our grandmothers reached for long before we had a word for a scalp routine.
